Original Houses

Building a truly original house is a demanding exercise for both architect and client. Will the finished article be a reflection of the character of the inhabitants or a showcase for the designer? Or, preferably, will it be a brilliant combination of the two? The aim of this book is to show how far an architect's imagination and creativity can go when designing a private residence.
